Updated Update

The new bathroom is now complete!  Check out the photos on the site!  Thankyou for everyones patience while getting this new room completed.  With such a big house accomodating so many people, an additional toilet and shower was a must.  Well it is finally here and ready to use.

Update

The plumbing is done, tiling complete, shower base, vanity and toilet all installed.  A few jobs to do:  Lick of paint, install the shower screen and grout between the tiles and the job is done!

We look forward to revealing the new bathroom in Mid October.

Ok, so we have been listening.... Our guests have been requesting a second bathroom for about 2 years now.  An we are finally in a position to deliver!  The new bathroom is located next to the side door (beside the existing toilet) and will contain:

• Shower
• Vanity, and 
• Toilet

It will be a little smaller than the main bathroom, but will provide an excellent second option.  Below is a photo of the cleared out room, and we will be updating this post over the next few weeks to keep all up to date on the progress.

Lakes Entrance Taxis have 7 cabs in total:

• 3 sedans
• 2 maxi cabs

10 of us were staying that the Tanjil Holiday House on a beautiful saturday afternoon, so we called up the Lakes Entrance Taxis and caught a 10 seater maxi cab in to Metung where we spent the day in the beergarden of the pub.

The Boathouse Restaurant a fine dining seafood restaurant located onsite at Bellevue on the lakes presents with a modern yet relaxed atmosphere.  It is a bit on the pricey side, and I recommend 3 courses to get your fill - but the food is very good.  This is a great place for one of those 'special' nights.

Ferryman’s Seafood Café is a floating restaurant, set in the main street of Lakes Entrance. It has both inside and outside seating, so it is fine for all weather. On a nice day, sit outside under the cover of an umbrella, or if it is a bit wet or cold, you can remain dry and warm inside. There is definitely something about being on the water while eating your meal and sipping on a nice cold wine.
